October 1st will mark the eleventh anniversary of the International Longevity Day, which coincides with the International Day of Older Persons. This year, in collaboration with José Luis Cordeiro, we are organizing a TransVision Madrid congress, the 1st International Summit for Longevity, which will be held at the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM) throughout Tuesday, October 1st.

At the lunch break time for a sandwich (2:30pm), we will walk to the Plaza Mayor to begin the March for Longevity in front of the Comunidad of Madrid's regional government headquarters (3pm), where the Madrid Declaration for Longevity will be read. We will march to the Congress of Deputies, where the declaration will be read again (3:15pm), and then we will do the same in front of Madrid City Hall (3:30pm), and then return to ICOMEM to continue with the talks (4pm).

The 2023 march went very well, and this year we hope that more people will march with us. Here is a summary (5 min.), and the full video in VIDEOS. We registered the Madrid Declaration for Longevity (v.2023) at the Comunidad de Madrid (addressed to Mrs. Isabel Díaz Ayuso), at the Madrid City Hall (addressed to Mr. José Luis Martínez-Almeida), in the European Parliament building in Madrid (addressed to the entire European Parliament and the European Commission), and at the Congress of Deputies , where the words spoken there by Sergio M.L. Tarrero were also recorded (addressed to all parliamentary groups).
